Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas will meet with President Bush in Washington this week, ahead of the President’s second visit to the region in mid-May. With the pace of U.S. engagement in the Israeli-Palestinian peace process picking up, what are the prospects for a final status agreement before Bush leaves office? To provide us with a first-hand assessment, the Saban Center and the American Task Force on Palestine are pleased to co-host Yasser Abd Rabbo [2], the Secretary General of the Palestine Liberation Organization and Policy Adviser to President Abbas.
