He stressed that a negotiated two-state solution is the only viable solution, and dismissed the binational state agenda as an unrealistic one that will lead to prolonged chaos. He called for any Palestinian national unity arrangement to be based on clear terms of reference that are in keeping with international positions. He concluded by calling for vigorous Palestinian engagement with the United States in order to create conditions conducive to achieving peace in the region. |
