The United Nations is submitting the 41st bi-weekly report on the implementation of the 15 November 2005 Agreement on Movement and Access (AMA), covering the period 30 May – 12 June 2007.

Major inter-factional violence led to closure of crossings at the end of the reporting period. Until these
closures, open days were up on the last reporting period. Karni Crossing was open for 11 days out of
12 (92%) scheduled days, compared with 8 out of 12 days in the previous period. Rafah Crossing was
only open for 5 days out of 14 scheduled days (3 days more than the previous period) and 26% of
scheduled operating hours compared to 13% during the previous reporting period.
