The American Task Force on Palestine continued its advocacy work this month, hosting two Palestinian NGO delegations. On April 10, ATFP’s Board of Directors met with the “NGO Mapping Project” which identifies efficient and moderate Palestinian NGO’s for the international community. Later that week, ATFP organized a trip to congress for members of RUWWAD, a youth empowerment program based in the West Bank. The delegation shared their message and experiences with several members of Congress including Rep. Lois Capps, Rep. Keith Ellison, and Rep. David Price. ATFP also coordinated with The American Federation of Ramallah to host a reception for the RUWWAD delegation with the vibrant local Palestinian-American community.
