Israeli forces arrested two people in al-Bireh overnight Monday, including the former mayor of the city, locals said.
Sheikh Jamal Tawil was detained after Israeli forces raided his home and confiscated two computers overnight, witnesses said.
Another man, said to be a member of Hamas, was also arrested.
