Kadima Party chair Tzipi Livni on Wednesday criticized Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's performance in his first 100 days in office, calling his new-found support for a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict "the height of hypocrisy."

Speaking in an interview to Army Radio, the opposition leader accused Likud members of continuing to attack Kadima over its support for a two-state solution, but said that the government changed its position due to pressure from the United States.

She also accusing Netanyahu of paying lip service to the public and his government of doing things "only for appearances."

"Everything this government does is superficial," Livni said.

"I sat with Netanyahu before the creation of the government, and I understood that a significant change in world-view is necessary - but it is not there at the moment," said Livni, to explain why she will remain in the opposition.

"This is a government that is trying to survive, that zigzags, that is not dealing with the financial crisis," Livni said. She added that "When the public looks at Bibi, it understands that he is playing with words, that there is no process here."

The Kadima chair also addressed conflict within her own party, including reports that Shaul Mofaz is considering returning to Likud.

"I don't want to make easy decisions that will satisfy some of the politicians who want to join the coalition," she said.
