Israeli troops continue to operate in West Bank: A wanted Palestinian man was shot to death Wednesday by IDF and Border Guard forces operating in the Jenin area. According to security forces, the man was shot after attempting to evade arrest.

Reports on A'abad's organizational affiliation were contradictory. According to intelligence information gathered in Jenin, he belonged to the Fatah's Abu-Amar Brigades, but other sources claimed he was a Hamas member. Eyewitnesses reported he had been shot in the foot, so residents of his village were surprised to hear of his death.

The wanted Palestinian, Talal A'abad, was shot in the neck by troops who arrived at the scene of the incident in order to detain him. He was evacuated to Israel for medical treatment, but  was pronounced dead en route to an Israeli hospital.

Palestinian sources told Ynet that they were not dismissing the possibility that A'abad had been executed by Israeli soldiers. Earlier in the day, Palestinian sources reported that two other wanted men had been injured and arrested in the area.
