From Pembroke, Bermuda, Patricia Kempe is currently a senior at the George Washington University in Washington, D.C., majoring in International Affairs, with a double concentration in the Middle East and Conflict and Security, and a minor in Spanish. Patricia first became interested in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict as a freshman, and has since then become involved with the GW chapter of Students for Justice in Palestine. While studying abroad in Jordan in 2009, Patricia experienced the Israeli-Palestinian conflict first-hand, further fueling her desire to advocate for the Palestinian cause.
