BACK TO STAFF PAGE
Maeve Campbell will be entering her senior year this fall at The University of Chicago. She is pursuing a major in International Studies, focusing on International Political Economy, and a minor in Near Eastern Languages and Civilizations—Arabic. Maeve just returned from Amman, Jordan, where she spent a year living with a host family and where she was enrolled in Arabic and Middle Eastern culture/politics courses. Maeve became interested in the Palestinian-Israeli conflict while she was researching Jordan as a potential study-abroad country. This interest further developed as she studied and worked as an intern in Jordan (for the Information and Research Center: King Hussein Foundation). She is currently working on her BA Thesis which is focused on the influence of multinational organizations’ aid programs on Palestinian nationalism in Jordan.
