Cory Ellis graduated from the University of Arkansas with BA in Middle Eastern Studies and International Affairs in May of 2010. He is currently attending George Washington University pursing a M.A. in Middle Eastern Studies with a concentration in U.S. foreign policy. His research is mainly focused on understanding the formulation of Arab perceptions of U.S. foreign policy. Previously he has worked for the Middle East Partnership Initiative, represented Palestine at the Georgetown Model Arab League, and taught English in Egypt. After completing his internship at ATFP he intends to conduct research in Lebanon and the broader Middle East in the spring of 2011.
